“I was staying at the il Lugano Hotel for about 2 weeks. Everything was fine with my stay, in fact, I thought my room was very comfy and stylish and the SUV transportation very very helpful. One morning after going out Downtown, I realized that my Canadian Passport was lost! I called down to the front desk and asked for phone numbers of the places that I had been with the SUV. No one had seen it. Frantic, I called the Canadian Consulate to ask for help. The Canadian Consulate was located in Miami and they were not very helpful. Finally, I called the Concierge for help! The Concierge not only negotiated discounted fares for the 3 round-trips that I had to take to the Canadian Consulate in Miami, but also talked to the airline on my behalf, helped me to get my paperwork in order and helped me to stay calm while figuring out a way to get back to Canada! I felt so comfortable and taken-care of, that I went back to the hotel 3 weeks later with my boyfriend for another 2 week stay!”
“I was staying at the il Lugano Hotel in Fort Lauderdale entertaining two very important clients. I wanted to take my clients out for a night on the town, and went to the Concierge for ideas. She informed me that she had a great night that she could put together for us at the Hard Rock Casino. I told her my requests, gave her my credit card and asked her to give me a call with her findings later on that afternoon. She called me a few hours later and told me that she had set up a limo for me and my two guests to Hard Rock as well as VIP entry into Pangea and Gryphon. I thanked her for her help and looked forward to the evening ahead. As we were leaving for Hard Rock later on that evening, she said that she had a “surprise” for us and instructed us to stop by the Concierge desk at the Hard Rock when we arrived. When we went to the Concierge desk at Hard Rock, we found out that the Concierge had set-up a special escort by the Chef Concierge of the Hard Rock to personally walk us to Pangaea and Gryphon to make sure we would not wait in line. It was great to have myself and my clients walk straight to the head of the line outside the clubs with the Chief Concierge of Hard Rock. Plus, when we went inside, the Hostess already knew my name and had our table and bottles ready. It was a very successful night that made me look great in front of my new clients!”
“It was my first time at il Lugano Hotel, but I live in Fort Lauderdale. I was there on vacation with an old friend of mine. Last time I was in South Florida, I remember specifically a private members-only golf club that I had played at in Boca Raton. I remembered that golf outing as one of the best I had ever experienced because of the greens, the atmosphere, etc. I stopped by the Concierge desk and asked if she knew of the course. She didn’t. I told her the story of my previous golf outing, and told her that it would be amazing if I could take my friend there. I teased her that she couldn’t get us in. I guess she was up to the challenge because she asked me the name of the private club and when I would like a tee time. I laughed and told her that I didn’t think it was possible, but told her my ideal tee time and gave her my cell phone number to call me. Lo and behold, she called me a few hours later and confirmed my tee time! She stated that not only did she get me the tee time I wanted, but that I would also have an escort to assist my friend and I during our golfing! I was very impressed that she went out of her way to get myself and my friend into a private golf club that she was previously unaware of. It was nice to feel that kind of special attention! And we had a great time!”
“It was my first time at il Lugano Hotel. I have to say, that for myself and my beagle, it was a perfect visit. Besides the cleanliness and newness of the hotel itself, I was really impressed by the service and attention to detail. During check-in, not only was I informed of the hotel’s rules and amenities, I was also given a Pet Welcome Kit. The Pet Welcome Kit had great pet owner’s information such as the closest pet hospital, their pet walking and pet-sitting services, restaurants and boutiques where I could take my pet and even locations for dog-walking! My beagle of course made friends with everyone at the front desk. So much in fact, that after we checked in the Concierge brought up specially made dog treats from their restaurant! It was very nice to know that not only as I being thought of, but my dog too!”
“For Christmas, my family and I were away from our home for the holidays. Before our stay, the Concierge had called us to inquire about transportation, etc. for our stay. I mentioned that it would be nice if someone could decorate our two suites for my children for Christmas. When we arrived I was stunned! Our suites were decorated with Christmas wreaths, garland, candy canes, a big tin of popcorn and even a small Christmas tree complete with lights and ornaments! I thanked the Concierge profusely after we checked in. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect setting for our Christmas away from home!”
